Hommage à Daniel Lindenberg. Lectures et parcours

Membre de la rédaction de Mil neuf cent depuis 1991, Daniel Lin­den­berg (1940-2018) nous a quittés en laissant derrière lui une œuvre singulière. Historien aux intérêts multiples et politiste volontiers polémique, il a balayé des pans essentiels de l’histoire intellectuelle et politique du monde contemporain qu’il a prolongée jusqu’à nos jours. Nous lui rendons hommage par la présentation d’un ouvrage ou d’une thématique dont il a été l’artisan ? : chaque auteur a choisi livre ou thème selon l’importance qu’il a eu dans son propre itinéraire.

Paying homage to Daniel Lindenberg – remembering his career and writings.

Daniel Lindenberg (1940-2018) was part of the editing team of Mil neuf cent from 1991 until his passing and left behind a unique body of work. He was a historian with many interests and a political scientist who never shied away from debate. His works cover vast swathes of the intellectual and political histories of the modern world, which he has contributed to shaping until today. Through this publication and its theme, we pay homage to what he believed in – each author has picked a book or a theme based on how relevant it was in his own career.
